Blanche Marion Elizabeth Moir
Blanche Marion Elizabeth Moir passed away, peacefully, at Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. In her 79 years among us, Blanche was a source of love, kindness and caring within the circle of her family and friends. Blanche will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend Gerald, and their children Larry (Corrie) Moir and Susan Henderson (Ron McClung). Cherishing memories of a special grandma are Jason (Crystal) Moir, Shannon (Brad) Moir-Montgomery, Robert Henderson and Ashton (Greg) Penner, along with great grandchildren Brody, Autumn, Aubree, Briar and Cali. Warm memories of Blanche remain with her siblings and siblings-in-law including Muriel MacGregor, Joan Eaton, Kate Racho and Gloria Racho and the siblings-in-law who share a part in the Moir family circle. Blanche will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
In faith, we trust Blanche’s spirit is now reunited in eternal life with those gone on before us, including family members, Joyce (George) Chessell, Stan Racho, Herman (Marie) Racho, Jim Racho, Wilmer MacGregor and Don Eaton.
Family and friends will be received at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth (519-527-1390) on Friday, March 30 from 7-9 p.m. and again on Saturday, March 31 from 1-1:45 p.m. followed by a funeral service to honour Blanche’s life at 2 p.m. A reception will follow at Branch 156, Seaforth Legion, 123 Main Street South, Seaforth. Interment will take place at a later date in Egmondville Cemetery.
