Obituary for
Steve Balfour
The family of Steven Robert Balfour sadly announces his sudden passing at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at the age of 47.
Loving son of Rosemary (née Murray) and Dennis Balfour of RR#2 Dublin. He will be sadly missed by his sons Jacob, Ty and Tucker, his dear friend Ange Pestell of Monkton and her sons Wade and Jared. Steve will also be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Predeceased by his grandparents Vincent and Dorothy Murray, Arnold and Elsie Balfour, and by his aunt Loretta Butters.
Steve was a 15 year employee of Parmalat in Mitchell, as well as an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan.
Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Wednesday, February 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (with Parish Prayers at 1:45 p.m.). A funeral mass to celebrate Steve’s life will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 22 Victoria St., Seaforth, on Thursday, March 1st at 11 a.m., with Fr. Clare Coleman officiating. Interment will take place in St. Columban Cemetery followed by a reception at the Seaforth Legion, Branch 156.
